BIO
Ted, a Memphis native and Briarcrest High School alumnus, played collegiate soccer at Winthrop University, where he was part of two conference championship teams and made two NCAA tournament appearances. At Briarcrest, he earned All-Region honors three times and was named All-State twice. During his club career, he played for MFC and was a five-year member of the Tennessee Olympic Development Program (ODP) team. Ted currently serves as a coach for the University of Memphis Women’s Soccer program, which has consistently ranked in the top 25 nationally during his tenure. He has helped lead the team to multiple championships and six NCAA tournament appearances, including back-to-back Sweet Sixteen runs. The Memphis coaching staff has been recognized as the Regional Coaching Staff of the Year for three consecutive years and was named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Coaching Staff of the Year in both 2019 and 2023.
