Thomas Bartels brings 18 years of coaching experience and a deep commitment to the long-term development of youth athletes to the Germantown Legends. A former All-Metro standout with collegiate playing experience, Thomas spent a decade spearheading recreational programming before transitioning into the competitive club ranks. He holds a USSF National E License and is widely recognized for his ability to identify and nurture talent at the foundational levels. His greatest coaching achievement is the successful transition of his inaugural recreational squad into elite competitive play, with many of those original athletes now competing at the collegiate level. Thomas specializes in bridging the gap between recreational play and high-level competition, focusing on the technical and mental preparation required for the next stage of a player's journey.
