Giovanni Alvarado brings an elite professional and collegiate playing background to the Germantown Legends, complemented by an extensive portfolio of modern coaching certifications. A local standout, Giovanni competed at the NCAA Division I level for the University of Memphis before transitioning to the professional ranks with the Memphis Americans and featuring prominently in the UPSL for Memphis Boom, Jackson Boom, and We United FC. Since 2019, Coach Alvarado has dedicated himself to youth development, earning a US Soccer National ‘C’ License and pursuing advanced global methodologies. His coaching philosophy is shaped by specialized training in the TOVO V1 Methodology, Football Coach Evolution mentorship, and Coerver Youth systems.
